All jokes aside, he needs players around him to combo with. Under GGG, he had McKennie and Dest, and occasionally would roam centrally to combo. But now he’s just isolated on the left, which is his worse side regardless of players around him.

I don’t understand Poch’s obsession with playing Weah on the left. Not only has he always been better on the right or when he can roam from the right, but this puts him far away from the one player he has good chemistry with (McKennie). And it isn’t like Aaronson can’t play on the left either.

Interesting tactical shift in regards to Tillman from the first to the second quarters. First quarter he stayed in the left half space most of the time, but in the second he’s been roaming. Similar to what happened last week, as shown in the @futi.live data

I disagree. When Tillman plays in the midfield, he's able to link up more and create centrally to play and combo through the block, which our other mids can't really do. Not to say he's bad higher, but I just prefer him getting the ball in situations he doesn't find himself in when he plays high.
