I wanted to wear metal gauntlets for the music video and cover photo but they were so huge and clunky. I looked like a kid wearing medieval torture mittens. Had to improvise with some cool finger armors instead. Tho not practical for battle.

We are in an age where the “big artists” are no longer quality artists. They are algorithmic artists. The quality artists dwell in the crevices between algorithms, quietly honing and refining their craft. They live outside the machine. Being a hidden gem is not an obscurity — it’s a status earned.

Finally found one of these. It didn’t disappoint. 🙌

In photography, there’s this saying that your first 1,000 shots are your worst. You start getting good only after that. I do believe the same thing applies to cinematography and filmmaking. Most assume it’s easy. It’s not. It’s hard to get good at it. And the key is relentlessly doing it.

So I’m also a member of my kung fu school Lion Dance/ Drum team. Spent the last couple of days helping with some of the performances.
