Oh, in other news. I joined two writing groups in my area. One is a lesson and critique group. The other is a socialization and writing sprint group. It's been really nice getting out of the house and meeting fellow writers. 😊 Although I'm a bit shy about sharing my work with the critique group.

I'm around 600 words short of 20k on a new novel. I don't know why I was so frustrated and absolutely struggling to write today. The goal was to get to that 20k milestone today. I've been so consistent with writing so I have no idea why today of all days I just wasn't feeling it.

Apparently, I was using Quillbot, not Grammarly. I looked into switching, too. Yeah, no... ugh.

My mum keeps telling me, as soon as I publish my book, to let her know. She plans on telling my entire family so they can buy a copy. Meanwhile, I'm just like, "Please, don't." I don't want my family knowing anything about my depravity. 😂 #writersky #booksky #amwriting

I know I might have mentioned this, but I've been trying to self-publish for probably 9 years now. Every time I think I have something worth publishing, I get crippling anxiety and self sabotage myself. Hence, two hard drive failures and then me just deleting my novella. lol. 🙃

One of my voice actor friends was more than willing to work within my budget for an audiobook. I was under the impression I was offering so little for my it... APPARENTLY, he already voiced a book for $20. WTH?? THAT'S AWFUL!!! 😡 So, yeah, I'm offering WAY more than that so he was happy.
