Hooray 3-day weekend! So very glad to have a break from my job. Although its not hard work, it has been hard to mentally disengage after work the past few weeks. Hoping the combo of long weekend + finally moving past the work project I have been trapped on will give me the reset I need.

Finally making some good progress today! Been in a big slump all week with art and I've managed to come up with a good solution to the part of this piece that just wasn't clicking for me the past few days :D

Ahhh man. I have spent all night struggling with a sketch cause I wanted to try something different with the canvas dimensions, and now im too stubborn to scrap it. Feels like a name on the tip of my tongue. I know my brain has the solution to make it work, but im too goop brained to think any more

anyway, rant about shitty smart phones aside, I'm spending the weekend with my phone off, but I'll be around. I got some art to get started on this weekend so hopefully that will help me lock in when I get started after my errands this afternoon.

I think I've reached the point where I want to start downgrading all my technology, and remove automation from my life. Different devices for specific functions. I don't want my phone to be an all in one device that I can't put down. I want it to make calls and text, and maybe music.

Hmmm wish my team would either set our morning meeting later, or just stop aiming for daily. Haven't kept track but its about 50/50 chance it gets canceled morning of anywhere from an hour to 10 minutes before. I woulda just slept in @.@
