That's my main COVID trauma: seeing how quickly, eagerly, and ENTHUSIASTICALLY people abandoned the vulnerable. And even worse, seeing how CONTEMPTUOUS people-- even "progressive" people-- were when asked to continue basic safety protocols once it was socially acceptable to stop.
