Our cultural highlight of the year was watching Helen O'Hara perform with Tim Burgess and the RNCM orchestra. It was almost like a perfect moment for Helen, pop songs performed in a classical setting with an orchestra stuffed with young talent. And blimey, what talent. Transcendent performance.

Our song of the year is 'Too Much Juggling' by Dub Princess. It was a perfect song for the moment, and a perfect song for the times. The 'my friend Syd' in the second verse is the much-loved Syd Far-i (aka Stefan Hoyle) who was so cruelly taken from us earlier this year.
