Small rant about noodles that say you can fry them in a wok and then proceed to disintegrate and stick to the wok immediately when done so. Feels like they expect a non-stick. There is a particular brand of Chinese noodles I've found to be good for frying. Most western noodles just can't do that.

There is an interesting trend with food companies releasing healthy meals made of chicken and oats. Unlike every other food they make these are packaged in a way you can't see the food and there is no picture. This is because the food in these looks really awful. Some are quite tasty fortunately.

What do you mean $19.99? The pdf of Mörk Borg costs about the same and that thing is barely a game (still love u MB). You're telling me you get 200+ pages of actual written game content PRINTED with that money!! Whitehack costs the same and it's not even illustrated (still love u Whitehack).

I feel like there is no way to describe Tactical Breach Wizards in a short way that would give justice to how incredible the game is.

Fellow designers. When you design a character sheet, do you spend time on the flavor-fields? Name, class, species, gender etc. Because I have. A considerable amount of iteration has gone into choosing what exactly should the players decide about themselves in this limited space. #Runecycle #ttrpg

I have found out that removing playable species from a game somehow increases the variety of species played. I've now seen a fairy, a treant, an anthropomorphic fox (that can turn into a werebear), Steller's sea cow (human with polymorph for convenience) and a sentient leg. #Runecycle #ttrpg

I am pleased to discover the Lifeslide soundtrack is on Spotify. I should probably buy the soundtrack from Steam as well. This game is such a hidden gem and honestly one of my favorite games despite its flaws.

The dice system in #Runecycle has a really odd an useful feature. Rolls can succeed with 1-4 successes, usually just one, 2 if you're lucky. I use it for damage. But this allows for non-attacks to be considered and counted as "damage" too, for things like distracting the enemy or slowing them down.

Fellow TTRPG indie writers, how much do you usually playtest? I'm kinda bottlenecked by the amount of games I have time to run and I'm curious how much testing games (especially low budget one's) usually get? How much they should get is of course as much as possible.
