She's absolutely right. One of the reasons I will likely never return to PF1 is because I had to deal with one too many munchkins and it was difficult to balance the fun for everyone. I don't have that problem with PF2, it is a pleasure to GM and that's even when managing a stream as well.

And that's the big thing- It's okay. It is okay for a game to not be meant for everything. There's nothing wrong with that. You don't have to make DnD into an SCP game with eight three homebrew add-ons like you're modding Skyrim or hell and back- There is a TTRPG that does exactly that somewhere!

Part of why I can do what I do is because Australia has a social safety net known as Centrelink. More recently I've transitioned into a government funded program to help small business get on their feet, it's how I managed to start a digital publishing company in TTRPG's.

The second part of this, if you see a book and it has little to nothing in the way of illustration but you like the sounds of it, you should give it a shot. Plenty have previews you can look at. Lots of peeps are on razor thin margins at the moment and even stock art can be out of scope.

Not really compatible timezone wise but I know there's a lot of international peeps who follow me who could use this.

Ok so I got Operation: Orias (surprising no one) the #Starfinder2e crossover with #Warframe. It's so damn good, for real check it out but also because I can not be stopped. A friend of mine suggested I build Equinox. Pretty rough but pretty proud of it for such a complex frame 😅

There's this peculiar mindset people have that any form of limitation stifled creativity, but I've honestly found that borders or limitations actually create more ideas not less Plus also it's nice to acrually have some coherent direction and coheasiveness in a game but that's my own preferences

Hey everyone just letting you all know that the first major errata for Blackpowder, Magic, & Plot for #Pathfinder2e is now live on DrivethruRPG and Patreon. Patreon post for more details but like most errata its mostly just small mechanical and editorial fixes.

It also acts as a tutorial for the TTRPG itself, and will often refer to mechanics in the system and show the player how they're used and utilized.

Recently had a conversation with a friend of mine saying you could play a party of all anthro dogs in #Pathfinder2e and all be different ancestries. (Shoony, Awakened Animal, Yaoguai, and Kitsune)

First major errata for Blackpowder, Magic, & Plot is almost ready. We're doing a couple of checks to make sure we haven't missed anything (we will inevitably miss something). It's just fine tuning at this point either way. Should be going out some point over the weekend.

This is absolutely a thing, and were I to have the budget I would change in art, not just design and writing. I really wish the good guys could be allowed to look cool and I think part of the problem is that in designs for organisations good guys often get equated with cops and that's not the vibe.
