1CH had lots of fun at the circus workshop this afternoon, and we are very excited to see the show tomorrow.

We have been reading the story 'In My Heart' by Jo Witek. It is a lovely story with beautiful illustrations by Christine Roussey. We made our own Nurture family heart. Creating something collaboratively gives us a sense of belonging and promotes social relationships. #SAPSHW #SAPSHCI #SAPSEngaged

💥6GP have reached a very exciting stage in our DT Automata project!💥 After being given a design brief and sketching some initial designs, we learned about cam mechanisms. Today we built prototypes to test the movement of our mechanisms. LOTS of problem solving/resilience was needed! #SAPSSTEM

Year 2 went to visit Monkey Island to see if we could magpie any ideas for our school grounds to enhance our habitat. We compared and rated each environment, discussing why we had given it that rating.

We took the digital cameras with us to take photos of our findings. We saw bird nests, spotted natural food sources and also had some ideas for some improvements for the birds! #SAPSEIC

Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed the Science show - ‘Abbie Ayre and the Shed of Science’. It was a really engaging show which taught the children about air pollution and what we can do to help the environment. #SAPSSTEM
