Year 6 had a visit from Cardiff University earlier this week… We learnt lots about what university is and the exciting things to do there. We were shocked to find out you can even get a degree in ‘Surf Science’ !🌊🏄‍♀️ It’s made us even more excited about our trip to the university very soon!

6TG took part in a powerful Remembrance Day workshop with the Army Cadets. A meaningful opportunity to reflect, learn and honour those who served us 🇬🇧#SAPSEIC

We love this ‘base’ that some pupils in 6GP began building together. They thoughtfully created sections to represent soldiers from different countries across the British Empire who served in World War 2!

6GP explored the artwork of Lubaina Himid, Yinka Shonibare and Steven Wiltshire. We responded to their artwork that explored the importance of giving people a voice, and sharing black history.
