We're thrilled to announce the formation of the new Multiomics Steering Committee! By "multiomics" we refer to the integration of high-dimensional data modalities at the cellular level, encompassing molecular (DNA, RNA, protein) and phenotypic (imaging-based, multi-cell-line viability) readouts. 🧵

With @polarishub.io we’ve built out infrastructure to make hosting and using large scale, ML ready dataset and benchmarks easy. In addition to the dataloaders, we could also maintain leaderboards. Would be happy to explore ways in which we can support the awesome work you’re doing with Plinder.

Re: affinity, this needs some work as it wasn't the initial focus, current approach was just to link to BindingDB through PDB ID and CCD code. PLUMBER polarishub.io/datasets/opt... might be better here, as it follows the same split but has way more (sequence-based) data. Nice predictions! (5/n)
