I know everyone’s focused on the downed F-15 — and I get it. But this is a reminder: our allies are doing more than most people realize. Quietly. Consistently. The United Kingdom alone put in serious work over the last 24 hours defending airspace and taking down drones. 1/2

This was a rough week for Trump — and not just from his usual critics. Rogan. Alex Jones. Messaging breakdowns. NATO questions. Something feels… off. I walked through it piece by piece in today’s episode.

Some thoughts on tonight’s announcement by the President.

A week ago, I recorded this. And six days later, that headline holds up quite well, I’d argue.

This statement is so well said.

This does not inspire much confidence. You would think the state Dept and the Trump Administration could at least get on the same page with their goals. This first image lays out the goals as described by Rubio.

This has the potential, given the level of incompetence shown so far, to be a colossal train wreck that would make EAGLE CLAW look well-executed.

Woah.

I get the need to go get it. What I don’t get is the need for the Administration to constantly be talking about it unless it’s a bluff/diversion for them to land somewhere else. Maybe the real goal is some of the islands along the strait. Otherwise, we’re telegraphing our moves.

Some praise about this week’s podcast. Make sure you give it a listen if you’re out running errands or going to the gym. I did a lot of research on it and I think it will really help enlighten you.

A good goal for today: try to unfollow one or two social media accounts that either stir up your anger or build up your fear and anxiety.

I mentioned several successes Iran was having with drones this week in my podcast. Those American setbacks continue for us.

I got to play tennis with a good buddy of mine tonight — someone I’ve known for 20 years. Man… there’s just something about that. Life gets busy, people move, seasons change… but a few friendships stick. And when they do, you feel it. Not surface-level stuff. The real kind.

This reminds me of when the Russians kept putting those aircraft at that base in Crimea and they kept getting hit. They have to move the tankers farther away. Duh.

I made this point in my podcast this week. The Administration is trying to hide the cost of this war, but don’t think that Iran isn’t landing some shots on us right now. Painful and expensive shots.

Absolutely agreed. The regime is a monstrous influence in the region, but if all we get out of this is a dead Khamenei, a vengeful but still very much in being IRGC, and $5/gal gas prices not being a California exclusive anymore. . .the juice really won't have been worth the squeeze.

This seems like not good.

I’m recording tonight, and honestly — I don’t have clean answers. The war is a mess. The signals aren’t clear. Everyone’s interpreting it through their own lens. What I can do is slow it down, look at it from a few different angles, and try to make sense of it without pretending it’s simple.

I can’t believe after four years of watching the Ukrainians fight the Russians, much of it with drones the past two yrs, that are defenses aren’t better than this. I am now convinced that our casualties are far higher than we are being told. Three successful drone strikes below.
