On 2:18 a.m. on Friday, Dec 19, I lost the greatest man I’ve ever known. I’ll have more to say later about my Dad, but for now I’m working on the eulogy, planning the funeral, etc. Love you all. ❤️❤️🙏🙏

Many virtual hugs. I went through this with my mom last spring. It’s not easy no matter how much you think you’re prepared or how much help and support there is.

🤣🤣 We asked about more morphine, too! We also joked that if he doesn’t go soon, I was going to take him fishing. And there might be an accident. (My Dad can’t swim.) We’re definitely at the stage where we’ve said our peace, he’s mostly not there, and if he knew, he’d tell us to go back to work.

I feel like I’ve lived in the hospital the past few days. (My sister feels the same.) Dad’s breathing is slowing. Probably won’t be much longer. At this point, it’ll be a relief. For us all. Lord, please help my Dad through this final stage. Don’t allow him to linger any more than necessary.

I watched this yesterday and it really gave me a boost.
