The MACSYS team was well represented at this year's InSTEM Conference in Melbourne. The InSTEM Conference brings together leaders, allies, and members of marginalised groups with a goal to foster inclusive environments, share effective diversity strategies, and strengthen allyship.

What a great way to end the week - a very nice turnout on a Friday arvo for our Whole Cell Modelling Reading Group. The group gets together every few weeks to share & discuss the latest research. It's also a great way for our researchers at our different node universities to get to know each other.

I was lucky enough to see Dr Hamey’s presentation and it was definitely a highlight of the conference, such interesting work!
