Hi, I work in the foster youth/group home system. The way the system treats youth is abhorrent. There is a reason they are so jaded. Its bc they are treated as a paycheck. Group Homes are paid per bed they fill so they have incentive to keep them as long as possible. Foster youth are stolen from.
