The Trump admin continues to lie in order to send federal forces into American cities.

The author of this article continuously attacked the teacher’s union during their strike. FWIW, most of the city had tons of city pride while right wing PACs, politicians, and media outlets were trying to get us to hate Portland so rich people could get tax cuts.

I’m not saying he is qualified to run for Senate, but we have to realize that people sometimes change. Don’t we want them to? I grew up in an evangelical family. We had horrific opinions of LGBTQ+ people. It took me over 15 years to leave all those beliefs behind. I’m proof that people can change.

All these things about building homes and renovating - shit ain’t gonna happen. Not when our own gov and neighbors are deporting, torturing, and disappearing people based on the color of their skin. It’s a privilege to feel safe right now. So use that and stand up for those who aren’t safe.

Today I saw an Evangelical Christian “celebrity” that I followed years ago. I used to listen to his podcast religiously (pun intended). It’s weird because it was someone I looked up to, and now I could really care less. Such a surreal experience.
