This first Thrill & Chill Book Club met at Phat Tracks to discuss Innocence Road by Laura Griffin. Wonderful discussion of women in traditionally male fields, the language of immigration, and all of the food and snacks mentioned in the book.

Week 7 in my Bookworm Life reading journal. The Olympics have taken over so I’m not where I’d like to be with this month’s movie watching, but overall this was a good reading week! I also visited two bookstores and a library.

My work trip wasn’t super photogenic or interesting but I did get to visit Magic City Books and the snacks on the flight home were excellent.
