I need to make a correction to a post I made earlier. @exedout.bsky.social pointed out an error in my post; acetaminophen (the active component in Tylenol) was discovered in 1878. It wasn’t widely available in the US as a pain med until the 1950’s is what happened.

I was a medic during the wars, and my rotations involved working at hospitals in the ER. Medical knowledge is important to me, so when these f***ing morons say that Tylenol causes autism, I have to say this. Autism as a concept was introduced in 1911. Tylenol wasn't invented until 1955

There is no means to censor one piece of fiction that cannot be applied to several others using the same logic. All censorship is vibes-based, so if someone decides your art is degenerate, they can weaponize the tools used to censor "problematic" art to censor yours. Fuck censorship, free artists.

For the time being, I’m moving my gaming habits over to GW2. Squeenix has really dropped the ball with this latest expansion, and its business practices have left much to be desired. If/when they get their act together, I’ll go back, but I won’t reward subpar effort with a monthly subscription.

Latest thoughts on my Y’shtola deck. 1) I’ve learned that control in EDH isn’t counterspelling. There’s just too much to stop in a game, and counters take on a different purpose because that’s so. I’ve dropped the number of counters from 8 to 4, and those 4 get saved for truly “oh shit” moments.

As a follow up to what @rine.bsky.social and I have been talking about… Second favorite meal is seafood Alfredo. Scallops, mussels, clam, crab and shrimp in an Alfredo sauce with buttery noodles. Cracked peppers and sea salt to season, served with a goooood Hefeweizen to balance it out. 🥰

Post Endwalker patches weren’t great, and Dawntrail made me cringe at times. With that said, I’m still happy with FFXIV overall and will continue to play it. ☺️
