Million things wrong with this, but one of them is complete - and dangerous - failure to abide by basic police training & protocol. You do NOT stop vehicle & approach it with guns drawn unless you have genuine reason to fear for your own safety or that of bystanders. It just begs for fatal mistake.

I agree. For state pros to act as meaningful check on ICE, DAs across country, backed by resources of state AGs, need to file cases whenever facts warrant. Not just DAs in whatever current hot spot may be. ICE agents r being told they're immune. Only multiple prosecutions will alter risk calculus.
