Took Magnificence I: The Cromwell Textile Cloth out to try to get some pictures but it was a tad windy. Calico, ink, silk batting, cotton, silk, gold and silver thread. Inspired by a textile inventory from 1528, handwritten by Thomas Cromwell. All hand stitched.

When someone sends you a photo you've never seen before from 1986 (see right) - and you can say 'Snap' and match it to the exact day nearly 40 years ago. Amazes me to think that we all live on, unawares, in other people's photo albums, like a mysterious independent life...
