Government needs to stop targeting young people. We have some of the highest student fees in Europe and for them to suggest raising them during a cost of living crisis is laughable. They are now trying to backtrack but join us Tuesday to tell them that we won’t be accepting fee increases ever!

Ten years ago today Ireland voted to amend the constitution to allow same-sex marriage. Today we celebrate the anniversary of this momentous achievement but we also want to highlight areas where society still isn’t equal for LGBTQ+ people.

It took us eight more years, but we got there. Grateful today and every day for the decision made by the people of Ireland in May 2015 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

On May 15th we observe Nakba day and remember the victims of the 1948 ethnic cleaning of Palestine, a cleansing which is still ongoing. At least 50 people have been killed so far today and 80 yesterday. 130 people and likely more in two days.

There is no way to watch Eurovision without giving support to Israel by association. It doesn’t matter if you turn it off during Israel’s performance or roll your eyes at it and say they shouldn’t take part. If people don’t boycott the viewership numbers will say Europe is fine with children dying.
