Thank you to Pastor Dr Alton Williams and his congregation for welcoming me to the New Haven Seventh-day Adventist Church this morning. I spoke with members about financial transparency and the role of the State Comptroller in strengthening our communities.

Wrapped up last night at the inaugural American Muslim Network gala in Long Island where 65 of the top leaders in the Muslim community were honored for their immense contributions to New York and beyond. Thank you to the incredible team for putting together such a meaningful event!

It was a profound honor to join so many incredible leaders at the @emgageactionnynj gala. Emgage has been doing remarkable work over the years to ensure marginalized communities have a seat on the table. Now more than ever we must stand up and denounce bigotry!

With just 46 days until election day, I’m out with my team every morning talking to New Yorkers across the city about how the State Comptroller can lower their utility bills, fight ICE, and invest in affordable housing. It's time for something new.

150 days ago, Allan Marrero was detained during a routine green card interview. Thanks to the tireless work of @maketheroadny.bsky.social @thenyic.bsky.social and other activists, Allan was reunited with his husband and family yesterday. Sadly, not every family has been so lucky. Abolish ICE.

When I launched Phone Free New York, we did it hand-in-hand with @governor.ny.gov and @nysut.bsky.social. I'm so proud to see Governor Hochul prioritizing and continuing to lead on protecting our kids. Now, our classrooms are getting back to collaboration, discussion, and learning.

ICE just abducted a NYC employee. He was here legally, and they still took him. As your next Comptroller, I will use every tool at my disposal to expose ICE’s abuses, divest our pension from groups supporting their lawlessness, and will work to get ICE the hell out of New York.

THANK YOU. We raised $2.5+ million across 260 zip codes for an office the establishment doesn’t want you to know about. Thanks to over 1700 donors, we’re building a statewide coalition that can take down a 20-year incumbent. Grateful for all your support. Now, back to work.

Albany insiders are approving rate hikes that drive your utility bills up. The State Comptroller should work to hold Con Ed accountable, but he's not doing it. As your next State Comptroller, that's exactly what I'll do. Thanks Cenk Uygur and The Young Turks for having me on!

As your next State Comptroller, I’ll take steps to keep ICE the hell out of New York. Here's how: 1. I will ensure the pension fund is not being used to help ICE conduct its lawlessness. 2. I will use our audit power to expose to the public how ICE is conducting itself in NY.

This is horrifying, but it's not a surprise. It's what Trump is trying to do to blue states. Terrorize us. We must ensure that our New York leaders are prepared and ready for when this arrives here in NY. State government needs to oppose ICE lawlessness at every single turn.

For too long, corporations have taken advantage of New Yorkers by charging ridiculous junk fees and price gouging on essential items. I'm thrilled to see Mayor @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social is taking action against junk fees, and I'm ready to be the partner he needs at the NY state level.

Every fare hike hits working New Yorkers first. Before we ask riders to pay more, we need real answers about where MTA dollars are going. That’s what the Comptroller is for.

The Comptroller is supposed to be New York's financial watchdog. It’s the job that follows the money, audits big state contracts, and calls out waste and abuse, so working New Yorkers don’t keep getting squeezed. Right now, that oversight isn’t happening. And that’s a problem.

My friend Congressman @rokhanna.bsky.social is spot on. The State Comptroller can be a strong check on corporate greed and rising costs. Cost of living is out of control, and the affordability crisis isn’t inevitable. It’s a policy choice. We can choose differently.

New Yorkers are tired of failed leaders, especially while we're getting fleeced by establishment officials. That's why I’m running for New York Comptroller – to hold powerful companies accountable, to protect your money, and to fight for you.

New Yorkers know their elected officials well. So why don't they know their state Comptroller? The Comptroller is one of the most powerful people in New York – controlling billions and shaping our housing, childcare, and economy. It’s time to reclaim that power.

While New Yorkers struggle with everyday costs and wages that don’t keep up, the current Comptroller has invested our state’s pension fund money in Florida & Chicago real estate. I’m running for Comptroller to make sure our money is invested where it belongs, right here in New York.

I was on Fox & Friends this morning to talk about the need to protect our children from the predatory online companies monetizing their attention. I hope to see continued action to curb the negative affects of social media on our children.

Special Registration, the initiative Bush pushed after 9/11, punished Muslim communities and wasted taxpayer dollars. This politics of revenge and racial profiling is what we see today, and it feeds into Trump’s vengeance. I’ll fight for policies that protect New Yorkers, not politics.

Campaigning isn’t always just policy. It’s also making people feel seen and heard. Here is @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social campaign lit in Bengali. Has to be the first time ever this late into a mayoral the leading candidate is translating lit into multiple south Asian languages. Bravo.

Undocumented immigrants pay $3 billion in taxes to New York every year. They are our neighbors who help build our economy. Yet children are torn from their parents and sent to countries they’ve never known. That’s not justice, it’s cruelty. Un-American, plain and simple.

DiNapoli says that he's happy with the status quo. But as the @timesunion.com reports, DiNapoli’s status quo is one of waste and disorder, like the $588 million software project he signed a decade ago that's 2X over budget and has NY retirees still begging for their pension payments.
