Late Update: Returning to school didn't work out so still facing uncertainty, more rejections, and academic displacement. However, I'm still committed to self-study. Refreshing on foundational math and science skills since I at least get to do it for fun. Hope has been shaken, but I still hope.

when i decided to go for computational neuroscience, i wasn’t into Comp Sci. but i was craving something hard at a time when i'd catch myself daydreaming about math, longing for studying & methods that was rigorous. i still have doubts if i'll make it, but for once, the path feels right. #selfstudy

finished today's lesson in my python course about file i/o. my script just reads a list of names and then generates personalizes letters for each. almost gave up, then everything just clicked. the best part was trimming 27 lines of clunkiness down to 8. felt euphoric to figure it out. #PythonEverday
