$2,000 rebate/stimulus checks? It's always been a BS promise for gullible Trump supporters. Extending the ACA subsidies 1 year would be $35 bil. Rebate checks would be about $300 bil, maybe much more depending on criteria. NO WAY the GOP Congress would even consider it.

While Congress keeps ACA subsidies the main focal point, the real issue is the income-based premium caps. GOP/Trump talking about giving the subsidies to consumers but that won't help at all if the premium caps go away. That's the only thing that makes insurance possible for 20 million.
