It's funny because Kaneko specifically would later be known for very judiciously executed.. not minimalist but very "Essential" designs that cut away a lot of noise and density - but SMTII Satan is the exact opposite, it's a chimeric mass of bodyparts and flourishes that assails the viewer

Regarding Kaneko's SMTII Satan - this design specifically has stayed with me ever since I first saw it - I kind of obsessively collect variant or rarely seen illustrations of it outside of Kaneko's original line piece bc I feel like it's one of those designs that changes utterly whenever it's drawn
