Saw “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You” tonight and I’m still honestly processing it all. This is one where I realize I’m not nearly smart enough to grasp it all. What I do know for sure is that Rose Byrne is insanely good. She just takes you on this really emotional, anxious ride. She’s riveting.

Saw #TheSmashingMachine last night and enjoyed it. Outstanding performances from Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt propel this movie. While they both shine the structure/pacing felt off to me over the 2-hour runtime. The realism though is well done, especially with some of the camerawork. Good watch!

We gotta not call the AI creation thing an AI “actress.” Like not even entertain calling it an actress.

I seem to be in the minority on this but I really liked #HIM. I thought director Justin Tipping did an awesome job highlighting the darker, more absurd sides of sports culture. Plus, great performances from Marlon Wayans and Tyriq Withers made it a fun watch. (1/2) #FilmSky

That was an experience. Justin Tipping delivered a truly disturbing, tense story that also shines a spotlight on the absurdities of football culture. I mean you could apply it to any sport or industry where someone goes to insane lengths to prove they're "him" or the goat. #HIMMovie

The Smashing Machine is an acting showcase for The Rock and Emily Blunt, who are both fantastic. The movie itself is emotional and moving but feels a little too familiar in a lot of ways. A story we’ve seen before just through a new lens. But it’s very good all around.

Walking has never been more captivating. To me, #TheLongWalk is one of the best films of the year. Harrowing, compelling, heartbreaking, and it's all propelled by a fantastic cast. David Jonsson and Cooper Hoffman have instant chemistry that makes the film an exhilarating ride... or I guess walk.

That was incredible. I'm still processing it all but Cooper Hoffman & David Jonsson are simply great here. They play off each other so amazingly well, blown away by their performances. It felt like 2 old friends from the jump, & they did it with such ease. The duo had me in tears. #TheLongWalk

Probably the saddest aspect is the way the adults manipulate the hybrids. The immediate fast forwarding for them to become adults is brutal. That baby doll head at the beginning of episode 4 makes more sense now as maybe a visual representation of that lost innocence. #AlienEarth

Venting: The amount of terrible, obviously AI generated, scripts I get nowadays is ridiculous. Smh like what are we doing that you can't even write a 15 second script without AI?

I learned about the color chartreuse the other day, this is a paraphrased version of bascially how that learning moment went. Person: "Oh it's a chartreuse." Me: "I have no idea what chartreuse is." Person: *describes their jacket* Me: "Oh, I thought you reached a specific type of truce."

THE CONJURING: LAST RITES is a solid conclusion to Patrick Wilson & Vera Farmiga’s run as Ed & Lorraine Warren, and further proves that it’s some of the very best casting of all time.

I kept bouncing back & forth between 3.5 & 4 last night when I was thinking about #CaughtStealing. I ended up at a 4, as there's an aspect that really resonated for me. It's a fun, over the top ride that folks should check out. I'll have more on Friday at 11:30a CST w/Del & Sean on ESPN 97.5 & 92.5.

An outstanding cast propels this crime caper to be an enjoyable, fun ride with a bit more to say than what I thought going into it. Austin Butler shines, Matt Smith scene steals, Zoë Kravitz is awesome, & Regina King plays a type of character that I can't recall her playing before. #CaughtStealing
