Loved the PGA Championship this week. Loved the course (and its setup) and it was a fun final day. Also, I never tended to mind the relatively anonymous winners in the past. Don’t mind it this week, either.

The Bucks fell “victim” to shifts in the new CBA & even on-court foul calling emphases…. And maybe this hinders their ability to trade Giannis Antetokounmpo (🙄) but generally I don’t feel bad for owners/team execs that generally suck at the job. Like, “be better” shouldn’t be a cliche.

There are all kinds of issues with the “insider model” but in this specific instance, *someone* in the NBA chose to do it this way. As a longtime NBA reporter once told me when I got on the beat: ESPN pays the league Billion$ - its gonna give their partner “news.”
