Not much makes me angrier than a recipe site reloading two dozen times in ten minutes because there’s so many ads on the page it can’t keep up.

LRP: I wasn’t able to do a lot of things until my oldest was able to babysit their younger brother. Spaces where kids weren’t allowed were spaces I couldn’t go. I didn’t build a community of real-life friends until relatively recently, because my kids prevented me from socializing in most spaces.

Keeping children out of public spaces means that mostly women are also kept out of public spaces. It makes parenting lonelier and isolating parents is a great way to make them susceptible to all sorts of fucked up social conditioning. Also children are people and should be seen and heard.

#FirstDraftFrenzy update for today and we can pretend I totally updated y’all the last two days. Goal for today was 6,207 words, out of 60,000. Today I have reached 6,362 words, 155 above goal.
