Returning to my manuscript with fresh eyes allows not only revision with less preciousness about the initial drafting, it also inspires me to look at the text as one might a friend's work—worthy of joy and excitement.

It's become clear that no one is going to edit my manuscript for me, so, regrettably, I must cease posting—for now.
