The PBS is such an important part of the Australian health care system. If it is eroded, public health costs will rise (people will get much sicker, which costs more to treat, plus there is an economic cost in those people not being able to fully participate in society), and people will die.

The PBS cannot be allowed to be cut.

It’s absolutely critical that the Albanese govt holds firm against the attacks on the PBS by US pharma. That includes protecting generics. Affordable medicines are key to our universal health system.
