I love Christmas, and I love spending the day with family and exchanging gifts. But my favorite part of the day is the suspension of food rules, and dinner is potato chips, garlic bread, and Hershey's Kisses, because those are the easiest to grab.

Daisy Update: She's doing better! She's been taking her meds like a champ (thank you so much to Greenies for the pill pockets! Lifesavers!) and eating more food. She's still off kilter a bit, but is moving around more and willing to at least share the couch with us again.

Daisy update: $1,200 later, meds, antibiotics, appetite stimulant, lab work, & neurology consult, Daisy is home. Diagnosis: Horner's Syndrome. She ate tonight, which is huge. 1/2

Daisy is at the emergency vet. Stopped eating Fri, lethargic... Yesterday we found she has two different sized pupils. Took her to urgent care ($150) last night, they couldn't tell much. Emergency vet has neuro doing a consult, as is ophtho (another $500-600). Daisy is my daughters cat. 1/2

Had a core memory unlocked while out at the bar tonight, when I was reminded that Cake did a version of I Will Survive that I'd completely forgotten about.

I celebrated the Huntr/x singing voices being in the Macy's parade, but I would absolutely be remiss to not mention the Native Pride Productions performance. Such a crucial history that we don't ever want to see forgotten. Thank you to the performers who shared their culture.

Pretty sure EJAE, REI AMI and Audry Nuna sealed the Honmoon today during the Macy's parade. And Ken Jeong made me so happy. #kpopdemonhunters

I got a text the other day from a friend telling me a coworkers parent needs to rehome her two year old lab mix. I have spent all weekend thinking about this poor dog now. It's almost exactly how I came into my dog in 2006, and he was just the best.
