In memory of John Baddeley 1933-2025

R.I.P, John Baddeley.

Rest in peace, John Baddeley (July 16, 1933 - September 13, 2025) who has died at the age of 92. He will always be best remembered for providing the voices of Top Hat, Zip, Shrimpers, Puffa, The Quarry Master and One of the Pirates in Tugs in 1989.

Just recently we had just lost John Baddeley who passed away a few weeks ago, he was well known for voicing Top Hat and Zip in TUGS! God Speed John, you will be missed! 😔🕊️🚢⚓️

Well, folks, here we have my very first Take-N-Play custom model of Frank the Arlesdale Diesel, made out of a faceless Take-N-Play Dart toy I had lying around and the face came from a Capsule Plarail Bertie toy, and his horns, were made out of toothpicks. I think he looks great. 🙂

On this day around 10 years ago, Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure first came out on DVD in the US! Hard to believe it’s been about a decade now and it’s still one of the GOAT Thomas specials to this day!

Another idea that I have for Plarail, I would also love to see classic Bob the Builder stuff in Plarail style like battery powered models of Scoop, Muck, Dizzy, Roley and Lofty as well as figurines of Bob, Wendy, Pilchard and Spud. How cool would that be? 😁

Here's the next S5 VHS custom - a very tame one: Spills & Chills. Just like on the 1998 covers, the only episode change on there is Snow - I also added in the song Night Train just to match how each ep takes place at night. However the front cover is super hard. #Thomas&Friends #VHS

This just came to mind, and I couldn't in good conscious let it go.

1/4 Day 1 of Awdry 5 was a blast for me and some of my friends! No.1 & 2 (Skarloey and Rheneas) got new faces, we showed our models, rode in Duke's cab, rode on a train with Mike tagging along, saw a few TVS props and saw the Mud Sodor Layout in action and we met new people!

What is it with engines crashing into a cart pulled by Trevor?

I never really liked the idea about Pinchy being concealed inside Diesel 10 in the original scripts cause there'd probably be not enough room inside (ideal on paper, but wouldn't work out that way). I prefer the way he looks when they started filming for it makes him more experimental in a way.

I feel nobody ever talks about David Menkin as Jack. But for me, I kinda enjoy his voice for the character and quite underrated too - Steven Kynman does a great job in the UK dub too.

My laptop crashed tonight, and I'm not able to get it back up and running. So, I have to try and get enough money to buy a new laptop....which costs $500 from what I was told. Until I earn enough to get it, my projects are grounded until further notice, and I'm unable to do any lines for people.

Fans want Thomas and TUGS crossovers (and we had one official Thomas and STS crossover movie once). But me, I want to see a crossover between Thomas and Theodore Tugboat (both produced by Cardona, filmed w/ models and Theodore and Queen Stephenie's whistles are heard in the CGI era of Thomas).
