I really wish someone would upload more images of this forgotten piece of Japanese Thomas memorabilia - no, not counting the upload by Thomas Mickey cause he kinda skimmed through the pages too quickly! Also, the O face made an appearance in it!

Comparing Mike Mulligan's Steam Shovel plot-wise, it sounds a lot similar to Toby and Trevor's backstories from Thomas - they are popular modes of steam traction that served ppl before they got sidelined for new machinery and nearly out of a job before given a new lease on life.

Now here is a much better way of Thomas fetching coal for Henry in “Thomas and the Magic Railroad” that would make more and better sense.

I know we yet to hear him, but Colin Fox originally hired to voice Henry in TATMR's DC intrigues me on what he'd sound like - and both he and Didi Conn would've been the only Shining Time Station actors to reprise themselves (and he had played a few protagonist roles before and after).

After listening to that one clip of the finalized TATMR DC, I dunno - I've kinda slowly took a liking to John Bellis as Thomas (pitch-wise). I like Eddie Glen, but I dunno, I think John's voice for Thomas suited him, especially since this matches the S5 maturity of Thomas.

After watching - Oh, I have a lot of notes to say about this: 1. The movie's storyboard (in terms of story) seems to be a mash between the 1998/May 1999 scripts (might've been from that April draft). 2. Billy Twofeathers being the storyteller before the change to Adult Lily and Mr. Conductor.

So James did have a recasted VA in the original Director's Cut - that being Adrian Egan. Have to say, he really does a very good Scouse accent alongside Michael Angelis. I wish we had him in the final cut than what we got w/ Susan Roman in my opinion.

So if anyone saw my Hamtaro Retrospective Review when I mentioned the humans didn't get enough screentime in all 4 movies and OVAs? Since the main anime is an ensemble cast, having little percentage of screentime for each human and animal just takes the charm away from the main structure. (cont'd)

Just saw the 2nd TATMR footage archive compilation - and one of my favorite parts is seeing the storyboard scenes w/ how George's scenes played out. Looks like we can all use this sequence as reference anytime we want to do the scene of our own takes.

GSE UPDATE: Just mid-way through editing the final part of Spencer's saga (aka the 3K Subscribers Special) - a lot of work needed to be undertaken into this including the end credits. Hope to have it out by the end of this week.
