Yes, precisely. Some of our internal testing suggests that, basically, if the Client's busy writing a crapload of info to the Log, it might not be able to simultaneously -- reliably -- send/receive data to/from the Server. Resulting in Lag/Latency-like symptoms.

We are investigating server framerates and hardware load. As well as investigating certain performance failures associated with powers & combat mechanics. It's a slow process, with a tedious pipeline. And I can't even guarantee that these investigations will yield results. But yes... we're trying.

Quick question for any of you super-high-end-DPS players, who are experiencing performance issues (lag, latency, client hitching): Do you get significant and/or noticeable performance increases if you DISABLE combat logging? Internally, the answer appears to be "yes" but I'd love verification.

Hey Captains! I've fixed a bug with the misaligned placement of the indicator light for the temporal ability that shows up on the Ranger and Paladin. This also restores the color changing functionality of the dome - but due to technical reasons requires you to reapply the template to take effect!

Hey all. I wanted to take a minute to give a heads-up regarding a change to the "Dilithium Destructor Charge" that will be appearing on Live within the next week or so.

Our fastest internal playtest that I was part of was around 20 minutes, because we could never stop ourselves from stopping to yap about polishing this or that. =p Congrats on the speedy completion!

Oh, also FC from Boffs and Doffs were doubled, as well.

Some players have already noticed this, but a fairly substantial update to Fleet Credits went live with yesterday's update: Dilithium contributions now reward Fleet Credits at a 1:3 ratio, instead of the former 1:1

When I was working on the Endeavor vanity shield I started off looking at the gold/silver icons of the Endeavor perks but then soon realized it reminded me of the "yellow" Stargazer model from Picard's ready room. Then I just leaned into it, while keeping a metallic/gold feel!

By way of offering some player-facing info... This is one example of a process that does not have good internal tooling, or documentation, and thus "fell thru the cracks" during the Cryptic>DECA transition. LiveOps and I met last week to discuss the issue, and hope to resolve soon. Excellent doc!

We have a fix for the issue that is preventing players from being able to Claim the rewards from Event Campaign VII. We'll try and get it rolled out to you all as quickly as we can, but it will require downtime.
