This Day in Gigdom: July 28th 1985. My band plays a 40th birthday bash by the pool for Garfield creator Jim Davis at Paws Inc outside Muncie, which is also his home. Three friends of mine from Mt Vernon HS who work for Jim as illustrators are surprised to see me behind the drums!
