Mayhem ballpoint and colored pen. I really dig this all pen style; all the lines do something for me. I cheated a bit and did a blue pencil sketch with a col-erase before the pens. People who can go straight to pen are built different.

Been experimenting with ballpoint pen and this was the first decent thing that came out. Yes the proportions are bad but the stuff before this was much worse.

Felt like drawing a turtle and chose Raphael. Tools used: watercolor paper, Pentel brush pen, Pigma microns, sketch and wash pencil, Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolors, watercolor pastel and a tiny bit of acrylic marker on the sai.

practicing back muscles and testing some colored pencil techniques. I crosshatched in the shadows then pressed hard when coloring the shadows to slightly cover the lines and "blend" them in more.
