The new Bakerloop express electric bus from Waterloo to Lewisham gives Londoners better connections and shows the benefits a Bakerloo line extension could bring. Free to use in its first week, its a quicker, greener and more convenient service to transform everyday journeys.

Twenty years on from the 7 July terrorist attacks, London remains united in defiance of those who seek to divide us. I want to pay tribute to the extraordinary Londoners who showed such courage and compassion by running towards danger to help others.

Today marks 20 years since the 7/7 London bombings. We remember those lost and all whose lives were changed forever. We honour the bravery of survivors, emergency services, and all the courageous Londoners who helped. I attended the moving commemoration at St Paul’s Cathedral.

Spending Review: Labour will keep investing in Healthcare 📈 🩺 An extra £29bn per year for the NHS to keep driving down waiting lists 📲 £10bn to digitise the NHS with a 50% boost in tech funding 🏥 NHS spending rising 3% a year, meaning more doctors, appointments and beds
