the female chuckled a little, her lips curling up in a smile. “ Why, thank you, sugar. I’m glad you liked the show. ” she hummed softly. “ Your hair quite a lovely color, especially in such dim lighting. Reminds me of the ocean. ”

mary kept her eyes to herself as she downed the shot she was passed, her expression further softening as she relaxed. inevitably, her gaze found the bright blue wisps of hair just off to the side of her vision. causing her head to turn. a look of surprise passing over her face. +

the woman continued to sing, eventually finishing off her performance and taking a bow. the rest of the occupants in the bar clapping and hollering as she marched off stage and into the crowd. sighing tiredly as she disappeared among them. striding confidently up to the bar and ordering a shot.

marilyn took a breath and sighed softly. “ It’s fine, sweetheart, I can understand why you would be a bit anxious around here. New Orleans is beautiful, but it’s got a dark side. ” she paused, raising a brow. “ Do you… need help findin’ some place? Anywhere you’re going in specific? ”

the rabbits head perked up at the subtle poke, her eyes turning away from the novel in her hands to search for whoever had tapped her. when she found no one, she sighed, gave a shrug, and went back to her book.

the rabbit doesn’t notice the woman approaching her from behind. her conscious too focused on the book in front of her. her ears twitching slightly at each step, though, she was far too deep in her own world to notice.

her own face turned a similar hue as their lips entwined, the sound of her husbands moan making her ears twitch. it was an adorable sound. . . one she couldn’t ever get enough of. her heart fluttered as their kiss deepened, and her tail only began to sway faster.

a shiver ran down the rabbits spine as her lovers hands gently traced her sides. her kiss deepening as her tongue gently brushed against blade’s lips. seeking entrance as her own hands wrapped around his neck. pulling him in closer.

the rabbits eyes softened as she leaned into his touch, purring happily as he gently soothed her anxieties. he was real. she leaned in slowly, pressing her lips to his and kissing him lovingly, longingly, every way in between. she’d missed him. she’d missed him deeply.

mary takes a second to set her coffee aside on the coffee table. smiling brighter and brighter as she scooted closer to the male. a male she hadn’t seen in what felt like forever. she felt the need to make sure he was really there, raising a brow as her eyes fell to his lips. “ May I? “
