As my previous post was cube-based, then lemme continue with my submission for @madvfx.bsky.social challenge with theme: square Lil shield that reflects projectiles, but scaled down with each hit. All textures were made starting with square too (including noises) :D

RGB Sea was one of the most satisfying effects to figure out for @Bytebond . Supports all needed color variants and spawning from other activators too :D #gamedevelopment #indiedev #VFX #realtimevfx #Unity

Custom Vertex Streams are probably the biggest trouble people have with shuriken, so here's a little tip to make it easier! Did you know you can rename the fields in Custom Data? Simply just click on them Hopefully, that helps you understand how to work with them :)

I make a simple script where you can control infinite particle post-behavior. Say, you want to spawn one particle and control its behavior after it reaches a certain lifetime or its lifecycle slider elapses. It helps me smoothening out the effect (like using dissolve) instead of it flashing-out.
