It's shameful that we were even considering renewing him. The people at the top of the club were not blind to this situation, and still considered it in the interests of sporting expedience. Lessons should be learned.

I genuinely had some sympathy when the allegations came out because theyâre dealing with someone elseâs mess but actively choosing to keep him at the club (if they do end up doing that) is unforgivable

Personnel change needed at half time in midfield. Preferably Walti but if sheâs not fit enough for 45, Codina. City finding the switch to Fujino easily, Arsenal not protecting the back four and not taking care of the ball there. Need to stop the bleed there.

Had a look at how the bookies rate both Arsenal teams title chances and I was a little surprised to see the menâs as high 20% and the womenâs at 10%. I think the men being twice as likely to win the league as the womenâs team is about right but you could probably double the odds of both imo.

Expect it will be #5 but I wouldnât be totally against Rice at right-back on Saturday, has the engine for it and his quality of delivery from crossing positions would be a weapon. Could go with Jorg and Merino (and Ă) in midfield to deal with Brightonâs transitions.
