Today, somebody I highly respect conducted a 'lesson study' in my y10 lesson of me as a teacher. It was absolutely fascinating and I loved the psychoanalytical insights into my teaching style. Can't wait to use this with others and inspire them as he did me. What a fantastic bit of CPD!

Too often, leaders expect teachers to develop a quality curriculum without really understanding the time that is needed to do it well. There are no quick-fixes and this work cannot be done in a void: clarity of vision and a commitment to professional learning must come from the top. Culture is key.
