Slowly and surely migrating from Twitter
I think frothing at the mouth to be violent at a demographic before a killer is caught is odd, and dangerous behavior. It's even more telling that all of that rage disappears once the killer isn't the caricature you were hoping it was. Look at yourselves. Yikes.

Stop giving evil people cover. Some people aren't stupid, they aren't misinformed, they just thought their decisions would only hurt others, and are now experiencing the blowback.

Why should I pay for someone else's healthcare, I hate that idea, instead of the current system, where I'm paying insurance companies to think a little bit about healthcare while denying as much as possible and siphoning record profits? You ever think about that libs?

At the gym, a very nice lady the size of my thigh very kindly asked if I was up for a friendly strength competition. Lol, ma'am, you might have fleeced me when I was 17 but I know a street hustler when I see one. I've got nothing to prove.

The whole point of general index funds is that you aren't over leveraged into any vertical. That does not work if the index fund is attached to just the largest companies, and all of those largest companies are a part of the same industry. I would heavily recommend checking that

The collapse of AI hype, because of the resource intensity, inability to monetize, actual use cases, and that scale isn't going to bring AGI, is going to be spectacular and terrible. Worse, it's entirely predictable

The jobs report came down today for July, and it's abysmal. Jobs report for May and June were adjusted down by ~280,000 jobs....down to 19k/14k, because they were lying to you. That's not within a range for statistical flexibility, that's not how that works, that's just a lie.

If it seems random and odd that so many tech Bros are interested in Venezuela, it's because they've been abusing the workforce there for slave labor wages since ~2019. Almost, if not every, AI focused company has.

Ethiopia’s forgotten war is the deadliest of the 21st century, with around 600,000 civilian deaths
Estimates by European institutions and academics say over half a million non-combatants have died during the Tigray conflict as a result of a government blockade that kept out humanitarian aid

Whatever’s in the Epstein files about Trump is so bad that he called them a hoax, accused Obama of treason, shut down the Epstein investigation, recessed Congress to prevent a vote on releasing the files, and rushed his criminal attorney to prison to offer Epstein’s accomplice an immunity deal

For Artificial General Intelligence to be considered a public good, and not another weapon, presumption is that the company that creates it is going to give it away for free to the public, after they've spent billions in investment to gain market dominance. Good luck with that.

The nationwide dismantling of our scientific research and educational infrastructure is going to have compounding terrible effects on us for generations. All just so a small group of people can make a little bit more money. Just alarmingly stupid national policy we have.

A decade and a half from now, as China's population collapses and Europe/Korea have the same issue, places with high immigration, and larger tiered economic systems, they'll either be booming, or the powers that be are going to exploit them even harder. Lots of chains coming

Young (and old) men are easy to pick off because of the loss of societal third spaces. This can't be too surprising. It's the same thing that happens in abusive relationships or cults. Isolate, demonize, give them an enemy, radicalized. Done at scale with the internet

If you get a chance to do a deep dive with some conservative men on why they don't like to date fully conservative women, it's ironically because they don't like having to live in the performative masculinity that's expected of them. They cannot be themselves.
