Cerebellum responds to language like cortical areas
One of four language-responsive cerebellar regions may encode meaningful information, much like the cortical language network in the left hemisphere, according to a new study.

Proposal: two peer reviews of a manuscript is almost always enough. As reviewer: I'm sick of reluctantly agreeing to review a paper only to find out later I'm one of FOUR reviewers. This is a massive waste of resources at a time when it gets harder and harder to get people to agree to review.

I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

Do American researchers have to explain why they only recruited American participants or is that special feedback that editors/reviewers reserve for Canadian researchers? Also, I'm getting pretty sick of having to explain why it's good to have data specific to my own country.
