Just started listening to Max in the Land of Lies by the amazing @adamgidwitz.bsky.social, and I am only 50 minutes in and already I know it’s going to be a hard listen given the times we are living in…highly suggest everyone read/listen this and its first volume…

Max in the Land of Lies by @adamgidwitz.bsky.social was just as great as Max in the House of Spies. I was enraptured as I followed Max on his grand adventure in Germany as a child spy for England. Read these two books if you need historical fiction with fantasy during World War II.
