Unfortunately my wife has had a relapse in her cancer treatment. They can't restart chemo (with new drugs) until the port-a-cath has been removed. And they're being very slow in doing so.

My next trip to the British Library is set for next Wednesday. I'm trying to pin down a ghost report that appeared in the local press (see below) and, elusively, The News of the World. I've put off a return visit mainly due to the cyber attack. If I find anything I'll let you know #phantomsfriday

My diabetes nurse tells me that my weight has dropped, my blood sugar level has dropped below the upper diabetes limit and everything is great. Now all we need is good news for Carly on Friday after her latest scan.

I was interviewed a few weeks ago for this US radio show, which is going to be broadcast tomorrow morning at about 4am GMT but you'll be able to catch up. I have three more podcasts in the next few weeks about the Titanic and a few more ghost interviews lined up for later on in the year. #ghosts

During January I was working on this book nook. I took my time as I didn't want to get bored or make mistakes. It was trickier than it looks. Some parts didn't fit so I had to use more glue than anticipated, and the LED wires were too short!

I deliberately avoided Titanic sinks tonight. When I first heard of it over a year ago I wrote and offered my help. The BBC were non committal and the production company ignored me. Screw them. I'm still running my own #titanic news channel which has a month long recreation of the disaster in April.
