apologies for seemingly vanishing. as i'm sure many of you have deduced, i had a brush with distortion. i am not sure what sent me into such a spiral, but i am thankful to all of my friends for pulling me out of it. the abyss was far to enticing for my to resist alone.

It's been rather hot out, recently. I'm not a very big fan of hot weather. I remember how warm it was when the Plague hit— burning bodies didn't help much with that. Sometimes the heat felt so oppressive it felt like it was spurring on the Plague's progression, but it got more people to stay inside.

I can't bear to just keep sitting here. Inactivity feels like a void nowadays. When I sit down without having a book or radio or something else to focus on, I feel like I may sink into the seat and never return.

I would lose in a fistfight to just about anybody, truthfully. I couldn't overexert myself if I tried, I'd just get winded and have a coughing fit. That's mostly why I use a flail, it does enough damage with me being able to keep a safe distance. And it's quick, and surprisingly light.

I love this world and everything in it that is good. These waters threatened the little good I have found. For that crime they deserve nothing but scorn. You praising the end is both disrespectful to those who have suffered and a sign you don’t care to make things better. Just like a sinner.

Revisiting places you once knew and seeing the changes that you had once thought not possible is.... quite jarring, to say the least. Seeing things... a husk of what they once were, a friendly shell filled by nothing.. it's never easy.
