There is a technical term for this cloud formation but I am sticking with candyfloss sky 😂Photo taken this morning here in Glastonbury. I also put the drone up a bit later so those photos still to follow. It's a long time since I have seen a sky quite that vivid.

🧵Spotted While Roaming in Aotearoa New Zealand: A burly man with a sturdy tum (40s?) is standing next to a vintage Triumph, smiling affectionately as he helps his son (12?) zip his leather jacket up. Mist in distant green valleys. A rainbow overhead. Perfect day for a ride with the boy. (1)

Got one of those in my neighborhood. She’s a lean mean mole-killing machine though—no diet required. Saw her pic on a community facebook by someone who was worried about her. Don’t have an account so couldn’t tell her “Lady, she ain’t lost!” 🤣

On July 2nd national book banning bill HR 7661 was placed on the Union Calendar making it eligible for full consideration on the floor of the House. We don't KNOW if it will be, but the timing suggests they're trying to sneak it in during a relatively quiet time of the year. So it's time to act...

🧵Spotted At the Beach in Aotearoa New Zealand: A weka* is VERY curious about a sandwich currently being absent-mindedly held by a man sitting in a beach chair, reading a paperback. If Weka is very quiet... And very sneaky... And sidles up like this... Maybe... It shall have that sandwich... (1)

This is…just…extraordinary. It’s art, that glasswork is. The time, the effort, imagination, the passion you’d HAVE to have for it. It would have to be humbling to be in its presence. 🤯

🧵Spotted at a free Light Festival in Aotearoa New Zealand: Four small humans (3 to 6?) are engaged in an amateur Puddle Jump Championship. They have found the BIGGEST puddle and are doing the HUGEST leaps across. Arms flailing, crowing triumphantly when they succeed. This is FUN! (1)
