This summer I made a hot sauce. I'd made sauces before, but always fermented and usually with habaneros or misc super hots. These frequently went more or less unused and stuck around for a year or more. This time I made a fresh sauce w/ vinegar and all lipstick red jalapenos. It was amazing.

Amazing session of Soth tonight. One PC broke into and sacked another PC's house. During those scenes, I just sat back and let the homeowner's player describe and narrate. It was fantastic. The game runs itself.

I'm running a Soth campaign. Soth does call for a dice roll ... to add randomness to one specific action (summoning a servitor) which has come up exactly once in the 6 sessions I've run. It isn't used as a resolution mechanic. The resolution mechanic is strictly rhubric based.

Good thread. I'm a real casual when it comes to RPG discourse, so take my perspective w/ a grain of salt. But the conversations I've seen have been relatively balanced and highlight the importance of systems, culture of play, conditions at the table and so forth.

I need to cut down a few smallish trees. I have a half-decent bow saw, so I did some research. Consensus is a bow saw is *great* for cutting down smallish trees. I gave it a try. I can report that either you need a much better bow saw than I have, or you need to be a whole lot tougher than I am.
