Starmer becomes the first British PM in my lifetime to not only actively say no to America but also challenge the entire premise of a US attack in the first place. He does this by laying out that international law is the guiding principle and that in his summary America have broke it. Massive

We literally begged for a government to follow international law on these matters. The previous government have shown their hand, the current leading party in the polls have shown it also. They were willing to break international law. This government isn’t, and it’s still not good enough?

Listening to Starmer in the HoC. He’s spot on. Basically saying America have no plan and he wouldn’t risk our troops in a situation like that.

Employment Rights Bill It was back in the Lords again yesterday. And again the Tories and Lib Dems voted to weaken the bill in 5 areas: 1. Weaking rules banning zero-hours contracts 2. Removing day 1 protection from unfair dismissal 3. Disagreement over a definition of seasonal work 1/3

I don’t know. I think if the polls stay the same there could be Caerphilly type elections all over where one progressive party is rallied behind. Reform are proving to be popular but they are the most hated too. With boring old FPTP voters can choose their local MP.

Today I reflect on how grateful I am for those who fought dictatorships and nazis for my freedom. I also remember all the medics who worked under incredible pressure. I remember the service animals who must have felt so scared. I am grateful to those at home who kept going.
