Word that the great Drew Struzan, who painted more iconic movie posters in the 1980s & 90s than you can imagine, has entered the final stages of Alzheimers. His wife asked that everyone thinks of him and his work and I'm certainly glad to do so. What a talent.

Well, after six years of loyal service (and multiple trips around the world) my MacBook has officially died. Fortunately the hard drive and data can be retrieved, but I’ve become a creature of habit and will miss my ‘ideal’ set-up. Here’s to limping along with my iPad while I figure out what’s next.

I’m feeling a little despondent about the world today. As much as it helps to stay informed, it makes me more aware of how much greed, pride + vitriol controls things. It was great to sit and talk about our mutual love of comics - ranging from Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko to Walt Kelly and Will Eisner - not to mention the zines of his childhood and later comics work. An experience I’ll never forget!
