How rare it is to find an artist willing to allow mystery to stand, to allow the surreal to remain surreal, to show the violent puzzle of existence next to the beauty without trying to organize them into something easily understood or comforting. This is a great loss.

david lynch is at the root of so much of my writing and innumerable others. such a deep loss for the weird horror community

The only way to mourn something like this is to throw yourself into art. Creativity is medicine. It heals the brain & the heart. Lynch understood the importance of art more than anybody. It's essential we don't forget this, that we don't lose it. It's the one dependable thing we have in this world.

Strange Wilds Press has always been about showing love for wildlife through horror literature. My heart breaks for those enduring the devastating fires in California.
